Hi everyone! My name is Eric Hinkel and I am a senior at Keystone College (La Plume PA) majoring in Business with a focus in Recreation and Leadership. I will be studying abroad for my final semester of college with Semester at Sea: Spring 2012.   I want to travel the world in order to better understand other cultures and lifestyles, to create amazing memories/life experiences and to constantly gain new perspectives that I would otherwise not have.  Oh, did I forget that I want to CHANGE THE WORLD!! No small feat, I know! How do I do this? Make as many small impacts and differences that I can, and continue to inspire and motivate others to do the same.

I have two primary goals for this blog: 1) To motivate and inspire other people to expand their horizons- seeing more of the world,  gaining new perspectives and dropping biases.  2) To inspire people to live more active and healthier lifestyles! I enjoy the outdoors and I love to exercise/run. I have ran two marathons and godwilling, I hope to continue to test my limitations until I am physically unable to do so.  If I can inspire but one person to travel and become more active, I have made a difference.  I truly believe that the world is like a book.  There are so many stories to be told and pages to be read, and I plan to read as much as I can 🙂
